This year has been a great year for Contractors who put their FedEx Ground business on the market. The national average was between 2.8x to 3x multiple, line haul businesses fetched a little more, with certain geographical areas seeing 3x to 3.5x multiples.  We believe the driving force in sales is baby boomers retiring, and smaller contractors selling before the ISP transition.  There will be plenty of deals to be picked up in the next few years for contractors who are in the ISP transitional states, be sure to check out our ISP blogs on which states are coming up in 2017.
