Our Agent Succession Program is designed to help retiring agents evaluate, package and prepare their book of business to sell. The program also helps other agents who want to grow their own business by purchasing an established book of business from a fellow sales associate.

FIRST STEPS
The buying and selling process starts with education. As part of our proprietary Success Path program, Long & Foster has developed two classes that are required for agents looking to buy, sell or build a team with our Agent Succession Program.

THE CLASSES ARE:

Business Foundations
This course is the pre-requisite to the Team Building Workshop and The Succession Plan Program. 

This course teaches agents key growth concepts, systems, and succession strategies. After defining the Four Business Foundations of a successful real estate business, agents will learn the best practices for tracking and utilizing systems in each foundation. As a bonus to those who complete Business Foundations, they will also receive:

  • 3 year-summary spreadsheet to help track production 
  • Monthly P&L Template 

Team Building Workshops
This course is broken down into 3 consecutive sessions that build upon one another: 

  • Mission, Values & Design
  • People, Planning & Financials
  • Hiring, Training & Beyond 

Whether agents have an established team or are just exploring the idea of building a team, the TBW has something for every agent looking for the ability to leverage for success.

OUR COMMITMENT

Once you have completed these courses, you will need to register on this site. Someone from the Leverage Team will reach out to learn more about your goals and discuss a strategy to help you achieve them. Your strategy may include some or all of the following:

  • Identify transitioning agents and help them evaluate, package and prepare their business to sell
  • Identify and qualify a pool of potential agents who are looking to acquire a business
  • Identify compatible agents, conduct an initial introduction and develop a succession plan
  • Provide the tools and resources needed for implementation of the plan
  • Provide ongoing consultation, coaching and accountability meetings as needed
